Quiet · AI-First IT

Your IT,
on autopilot.

Quiet is the AI-first IT product. THEO — our private AI — runs your monitoring, patching, security, backups, and day-to-day support. Chat, call, text, or open a ticket — THEO is on every channel, around the clock, with full context. THEO handles roughly 99% of what you'd ever ask, and brings our human team in when it determines a human is needed. There's no separate phone number that skips THEO — that's how the price works. And it's a remarkably good deal for small teams.

The Problem

Self-service IT exists because
full managed IT isn't for everyone.

For very small teams (5-25 people), full managed IT is overkill. But you still need real security, backup, monitoring, and support. Quiet is the missing middle.

"We have IT" means one tech-savvy employee.

They're not actually an IT person. They install software, reset passwords, and Google fixes for problems. Real security and backup never happen because they don't have the time or the tools.

Free tools have free-tool reliability.

Free antivirus. Free cloud sync as "backup." Default Windows configs. None of this catches modern threats. None of it would survive a real ransomware event.

Hourly IT for emergencies = $$$$.

Most small businesses we see paid $200-500/hour to a break-fix shop reactively last year. The same money invested proactively eliminates 95% of the emergencies.

Full managed IT minimums hurt.

A 10-person business doesn't need a $5K/month managed IT contract. They need real security and monitoring at small-business pricing.

How Quiet works

AI-first by design.
That's how the price works.

Quiet is intentionally different from full Managed IT. THEO — the same AI we built and use ourselves — is on every channel: chat, voice, SMS, email, tickets. THEO handles the routine, runs strict runbooks with human oversight, and escalates to our team when THEO decides a human is needed, not on demand. That single trade-off is what makes the price work. For small teams it's usually a much better deal than full Managed IT.

Connect your devices.

Download the Quiet agent on every laptop, desktop, server. Two minutes per device. Works on Windows, Mac, Linux. No IT knowledge required.

Reach THEO any way you want.

Chat in the portal. Call the support line. Text the support number. Open a ticket via email. THEO answers on every channel, in seconds, with full context on your environment and history. Same AI, same runbooks, same outcome — pick whatever fits the moment.

Humans when THEO calls them.

Humans aren't inaccessible — they're reached through THEO, not around it. When THEO determines an issue needs deeper expertise (a complex outage, a security event, hardware that needs hands), it escalates to our team automatically. Same humans, same expertise as Managed IT — just dispatched by AI judgment instead of on demand. If you want a person on speed-dial any time, Managed IT is the right fit.

What's included

Everything your business IT needs.

Real security stack, real backup, real monitoring. At self-service pricing.

Device Management

See every device in your business. Health checks, software inventory, remote diagnostics — all in one place. Windows, Mac, Linux. Automated patch management.

Automated Backups

Continuous backups to the cloud. File & image. Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace. One-click restore. So a ransomware attack or hardware failure doesn't end your business.

Endpoint Security & SIEM

THEO-driven threat detection, EDR, and full SIEM — all in one. Catches attacks before they spread, logs everything, responds automatically. Same security tier we use on full Managed IT.

Identity & MFA

Multi-factor authentication enforced. Conditional access policies. Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace identity hardened to baseline.

Security Awareness Training

Phishing simulations included on higher tiers. Monthly micro-training. Your team becomes the first line of defense, not the weakest link.

THEO-Routed Escalation

Quiet doesn't have a phone number you can call to skip THEO — that's how the price works. THEO is the front door. When THEO decides an issue needs human eyes (security event, complex outage, hardware that needs hands), it escalates to our team automatically. Same humans, same expertise as full managed — just dispatched by AI judgment instead of on demand.

Who Owns What

Quiet is a great starting base.
Managed IT is the upgrade.

The biggest practical difference between the two is who's accountable. Quiet adds powerful tools to your stack — but you stay admin, and you stay the owner of your risk. Managed IT means we become your IT department: we hold the admin accounts, we set policy, we own the outcome.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Who's responsible for security and risk under Quiet?
You are. That's the most important thing to understand. Quiet adds powerful tools to your stack — endpoint security, AI-driven support, backups, monitoring — but you stay admin of your M365 / Google tenant, your identity policies, your vendors, and your compliance posture. We help, but the final accountability sits with you. Under Managed IT, the line moves: we hold the admin accounts, we set policy, we own the outcome. If you want a partner with skin in the game and a real seat at the table when something serious happens, Managed IT is the better fit. See the “Who Owns What” section above for the full split.
Is THEO safe? Could the AI ever do something it shouldn't?
Short answer: no. THEO doesn't freelance. It operates against strict, versioned runbooks our team writes by hand — what to check, what to fix, what to never touch, when to call a human. Those runbooks are the product of 17+ years of MSP experience: every weird edge case we've seen, every careful permission boundary, every “always escalate” rule we learned the hard way. THEO can only do the specific things we've trained and explicitly allowed it to do. Anything outside that boundary, it stops and pulls a human in. Every action is audit-logged and reviewable. We update the runbooks as we learn what works — but THEO never gains capability on its own. It's governed software, not a free-floating agent.
How is Quiet different from full Managed IT?
Managed IT is a partnership model with direct, on-demand human support — you can pick up the phone or open a ticket and a person is in the conversation any time. Quiet is intentionally different: THEO is your support, not a phone number to a technician. Humans escalate when THEO determines they're needed, not on demand. That trade-off is what makes Quiet meaningfully cheaper. Quiet is great for 1–25 person teams; Managed IT is the right call once you're larger, in regulated industries, or want a person on speed-dial.
Can I just call a person on Quiet?
You can absolutely call — and chat, text, or open a ticket. Quiet has a real support phone number, a real chat, a real SMS line, and a real ticket inbox. THEO is what answers on every one of them. THEO has full context on your environment, runs strict runbooks, and resolves the vast majority of what you'd ever call about — right there in the conversation. When THEO determines an issue genuinely needs a human (complex outage, security event, hardware that needs hands), it routes to our team automatically — same humans, same expertise as Managed IT, full context already loaded. There just isn't a separate phone number that skips THEO. If you want a person on speed-dial any time for any reason, Managed IT is the right product.
What does Quiet cost?
See the pricing tiers above — Covered ($53), Shielded ($71), and Armored ($89) per device per month with annual billing (or $59/$79/$99 monthly). Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. No setup fees. The pricing only works because THEO handles the front line; if every customer expected on-demand human access at this price, the model wouldn't add up.
Who's behind Quiet?
JPtheGeek built and runs Quiet. Same Inc. 5000 team that's been doing managed IT since 2008. Same security tier, same human team behind the scenes — the difference is how you reach them. On Quiet, THEO is the front door.
What if I outgrow Quiet?
Most Quiet customers stay on Quiet for years. When you're ready for full Managed IT or Co-Managed IT, the data and history move over cleanly. We don't make you start over.
What about HIPAA, PCI, etc.?
Quiet's baseline meets most cyber insurance requirements. For full HIPAA-aligned or PCI-aligned compliance documentation, you'll want our Managed IT or Cybersecurity service.
